National Council Representative
Karen trained as an RN in the UK back in 1992. Her Ophthalmology experience both here in Australia and the UK covers Theatre, day care ward and for the last eight years outpatient clinics. She is currently working in a private clinic specialising in Retinal, Glaucoma, Paediatric and Neurology Ophthalmology.
Christine has been part of the AONAWA committee for a year. She helps out where she can and shares the role of organising Sponsorship. Her journey started in the optometry world, which lead her to ophthalmology. She works in private practices as an ophthalmic clinic assistant and loves it.
Sarah loves hitting the beach before work. She is a retired ADF photographer and has ten years Perioperative OSH Rep/Nurse experience including Gen Surg, emergency, Opthalmics and hand trauma. She is the recipient of the 2019 SMHS Safety Leadership Achievement Award in addition to being a volunteer for The International Coalition To End Transplant Abuse In China (ETAC).
